About this item
- 🌱 3 garlic bulbs per pack for fall planting; Krandasger Red is a cold-hardy, non-GMO hardneck variety ideal for Zones 3–9 with excellent overwintering ability and strong spring emergence
- 🧄 Produces large purple-striped bulbs with 6–7 cloves; prized for classic garlic flavor, long shelf life, and strong yield in garden plots, raised beds, or containers
- 🌾 Mid-summer maturity; scapes appear in late spring—cut early for better bulb growth; both scapes and cloves are edible and great for roasting, sautéing, or raw use
- ❄️ Requires cold exposure to form bulbs—perfect for northern climates; for warm zones, refrigerate cloves 10–12 weeks before planting to mimic winter
- 🧬 Part of the Purple Stripe group; known for vivid wrappers, rich but not overpowering flavor, and sweet taste when baked—ideal for culinary and garden use
